Our Story
The Chehalem Mountains rise like a crown between the Willamette and Yamhill valleys — a rugged, ancient range where the air is cooler, the soils are younger, and the Pinot Noir finds a voice all its own.
For over three decades, Chehalem Mountain Vineyards has tended these slopes with an unwavering commitment to expressing what this land offers. Our estate vineyards sit at the heart of the AVA, and every vine is a deliberate choice — low-yielding, head-pruned, and harvested by hand at the precise moment of balance.
What began as a family dream has become one of the Chehalem Mountains' most respected addresses for wine — not because we chase trends, but because we listen to the land.
Discover our philosophyThe Collection
Each vintage is a conversation between climate and clay — restrained, complex, and unmistakably Oregon.
Pinot Noir
Dark cherry, crushed raspberry, and a whisper of vanilla. Silky tannins with a long, mineral finish that lingers like the mountain air at dusk.
Rosé
A pale, sunlit rosé of salmon hue. Notes of wild strawberry, citrus zest, and a saline edge that makes it impossible to drink just one glass.
Chardonnay
Baked apple, toasted hazelnut, and a hint of beeswax. Medium-bodied with a creamy texture and a bright, citrusy finish that cuts through richness.
Red Blend
Our flagship. A masterful assemblage of Pinot, Gamay, and Pinot Meunier — layered with blackberry, smoke, and earth. Built for patience.
Rosé
Dry, effervescent, and effortlessly charming. A skin-contact rosé with notes of apricot, rose petal, and a satisfyingly grippy finish.
Pinot Noir
The crown jewel. 18 months in French oak. Layers of cassis, cocoa, forest floor, and a finish that seems to go on forever. For the patient drinker.
